This wall gives parents more than just a box of photos, it honors their child
FOREVER!
FOREVER!
Mitchell Wesley Dean Cook was killed Sept. 25th 2002
Mitchell was a member of the Forest Area little league team,
Cub Scouts and the middle school wrestling team.
For three years he was active in the Traverse City Young Marine Unit.
Mitchell loved people of all ages and was very giving to those around him.
Most of all, he was a friend to anyone and did not judge a single person.
Mitchell had an outstanding love for dirt bikes, horses and other animals.
He loved adventure, risk taking and yet at the same time
was very compassionate and calm.
The hardest part of losing a child is fighting to always have that child
remembered and honored.
By knowing this oh too well, Mitchell's family and friends have decided to
give all of us here at Forest Area a way to remember, not only Mitchell,
but all of the students that we have lost and so deeply miss.
